Ridiculous

Dear Wonderful Texas Reps.,
"Oh my God!" was my first reaction after I saw that extremely informative video in class. I was amazed; I could not believe how gracious and loving and loyal you are to your colleagues. Wow! It was so nice of you all to vote for them while they "went out for lunch" or "took a break". What was a real shocker was that you decided to put in their choices while resisting the impulse to let your preference take over. I am extremely glad that you are the people who are helping make decisions to shape my country.
I have to say that being completely honest about everything I do is now one of my priorities. After watcing that video clip I decided to follow your inspiring examples. With that in mind, I must say, I am now resisting my impulse to regurgitate my dinner. You disgrace this country with your lies and deceit. Forever you all, in my eyes, will be some of the most atrocious people I have ever laid eyes on. What you have done proves to America that you can not be trusted. I am ashamed. I am disgusted. But, one good thing has come from all of this; you have given birth to an undying passion, an undying flam inside me that will not die down until I change the way this government is run. Thanks for that.
With my undying-because-it-was-never-there gratitude,

The Separation of Man and Beast

One of the definitions of a man is "a civilized being"; in a sense. But aren't some animals civilized? So who is to say that a man is not a beast and who is to say that one is not? This is one of the questions many people debate over. The only thing is, is that most people do not think of the question that must come before that; what is the definition of a beast?
Speaking metaphorically, man is a beast, but there is one truely deciding factor; your perspective. With that in mind I give to you the question, "What separates man, from beast?" and the only real answer to this is "You tell me."

Microfiction.....The not-so-brilliant spy.

I swell with anticipation and anxiety. I am a brillant spy. Ready? Jump! Air rushes past me. I fall. I look up. My partener is holding a backpack-shaped package that is, strangely, not on my back. Uh oh. Sooner or later i will come to a stop. Not so brilliant after all eh?

Vocabulary homework

Bias- this picture represents bias because the parent guy is saying that his son is dressing too weirdly and he is discriminating. He has a strong bias against the way he dresses.

Plagiarize- this picture represents plagiarism because Bart has taken Iraq reports and said they were his.

Jingoism- this picture represents jingoism because it is an american flag and the person who made this flag is (im assuming) beieving in jingoism.

Empathy- This guy has empathy in his I V. He is old.
